SMCL offers scholarship grants for SHS and JHS


Saint Michael's College of Laguna announced that scholarships for junior high school and senior high school will be offered for the next school year, 2017-2018.

The President's Scholarship Grant for Senior High School is open for incoming Grade 11 students who have 85% and above general average. Bona fide students qualify for the competitive examinations to be held at SMCL.

Meanwhile, incoming Grade 7 students who have 85% and above general average may take the Limaco Scholarship Test. Passers will be given the Limaco Scholarship Grant for Junior High School.

These grants are open for both public and private school completers of Grade 6 (for JHS) and Grade 10 (for SHS). See graphic above for raw scores and corresponding scholarships available.

SMCL is an autonomous, accredited, and ISO-certified higher education institution that offers Accountancy and Business Management (ABM), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and Humanities and Social Sciences (HumSS) in Senior High School.

SMCL Junior High School, on the other hand, has produced graduates who have been successful in various fields such as media and the arts (winners of the Peabody Awards, Palanca Awards, National Commission for Culture and the Arts Best in Culture Page, DepEd Press Conferences, international student poetry and essay competitions, and others) sports (Palarong Pambansa, ASEAN youth games, Milo Little Olympics, etc.), and science and technology (scholarships for space education and astrophysics).
