ADVISORY: Safety and security protocol for the duration of the construction of the new MLL Hall

The main gate along the Old National Road will be closed effective 26 October 2017. The Segunda Limaco Main Gate on Teodora Street and near Our Lady of Mount Carmel Schoolhouse will serve as the pedestrian access gate for students, personnel, and visitors.

Gate 3 (VIP Gate) along Teodora Street will be used as "Entry" for all incoming vehicles. The SMCC Secondary Gate (fronting Biñan Doctors Hospital Inc.) will be the "Exit" during designated hours only: 6:00 to 8:30 A.M. and 2:00 to 4:30 P.M. All vehicles will exit using Gate 2 for the rest of the day.

Area of Deployment:
  • Pedestrian Gate (Segunda Limaco Main Gate ) - 1 SG
  • SMCC Secondary Gate - 1 BT
  • Gate 3 (VIP) along Teodora Street) - 1 SG
  • Gate 2 - 1 SG
  • RLL Open Space (Parking Area) - 1 BT
  • National Road (Segunda Village Road) - 1 BT
Safety and Security Procedures
  • Students' service vehicles and school personnel's vehicles should be registered
  • Only four wheel service vehicles will be allowed to park in the designated area inside the school compound
  • Tricycles will be allowed to park near the Teodora Main Gate
  • No pedestrian will be allowed to pass through Gate 2 and the SMCC Secondary Gate.

SMCL offers scholarship grants for SHS and JHS

Saint Michael's College of Laguna announced that scholarships for junior high school and senior high school will be offered for the next school year, 2017-2018. The President's Scholarship Grant for Senior High School is open for incoming Grade 11 students who have 85% and above general average. Bona fide students qualify for the competitive examinations to be held at SMCL. Meanwhile, incoming Grade 7 students who have 85% and above general average may take the Limaco Scholarship Test. Passers will be given the Limaco Scholarship Grant for Junior High School. These grants are open for both public and private school completers of Grade 6 (for JHS) and Grade 10 (for SHS). SMCL celebrates 42nd College Week

The 42nd week-long celebration was a huge success with 100% of all the events lined-up successfully realized. In celebration of its 42nd College Week, Saint Michael’s College of Laguna (SMCL) in partnership with the College Student Council (CSC) conducted a Youth Empowerment Forum with the theme: #How to Be You on the 25th day of January 2017, Wednesday, 10:00 to12:00 noon at Saint Theodore Hall. The forum’s outcome is an inspired and empowered Filipino youth who are willing to lead and create changes in their community.
