SMCL Updates

Saint Michael's College of Laguna hosted a talk on the assistance programs offered by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) on Dec. 9 at St. Theodore Hall. Ms. Rhodora Angela F. Ferrer, PEAC Executive Director, explained the educational service contracting (ESC) program and the voucher system for senior high school (SHS). Ms. Rhodora Angela Ferrer Parents were given the opportunity to clarify their understanding on the assistance programs available for grade 10 completers next school year. Ms. Ferrer said that non-ESC grantees may also apply for the SHS voucher online.

The College’s commitment to excellence in its service delivery once again surfaced when it successfully passed the accreditation of its BSCS program’s candidate status finally having all its program offerings accredited by PACUCOA. This earned for the College a Gold Award from PACUCOA for having  100% of its programs accredited during the Association’s 26th General Assembly held on Dec, 1 at the City of Dreams, Manila.
