ADVISORY: Safety and security protocol for the duration of the construction of the new MLL Hall

The main gate along the Old National Road will be closed effective 26 October 2017. The Segunda Limaco Main Gate on Teodora Street and near Our Lady of Mount Carmel Schoolhouse will serve as the pedestrian access gate for students, personnel, and visitors. Gate 3 (VIP Gate) along Teodora Street will be used as "Entry" for all incoming vehicles. The SMCC Secondary Gate (fronting Biñan Doctors Hospital Inc.) will be the "Exit" during designated hours only: 6:00 to 8:30 A.M. and 2:00 to 4:30 P.M. All vehicles will exit using Gate 2 for the rest of the day. SMCL joins Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Saint Michael’s College of Laguna participated in the conduct of CY 2016 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on 22 June 2016. Said drill started at exactly 9:00 A.M. with the sound of the siren signaling a simulated earthquake. Students, teachers, staff, and parents did the necessary measures to ensure personal safety. Class advisers and heads were instructed to implement emergency evacuation policies and procedures at the designated site. This was conducted pursuant to RA 10121 or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 that focuses on preparedness and mitigation as key strategies in reducing disaster risk. The activity was part of the scheduled drills per NDRRMC Memorandum No. 26 dated 25 May 2016 and RDRRMC Memorandum to LDRRMOs dated 02 June 2016. Mr. Apollinaris V. SMCL joins Laguna shake drill

Students, staff, and faculty members participated in the Laguna Shake Drill, Sept. 8. Said earthquake drill was conducted in preparation of disasters, especially after news on the faultline that runs through Biñan broke out, according to Director Apollinaris V. Castelltort, Environment/Pollution Control Officer. At 10:30 am, the bell rang, signalling a mock earthquake. Everyone did the duck, cover and hold on. Boy Scouts assisted the students towards the Rogelio Limaco Park which serves as the evacuation area. Mr. Castelltort thanked everyone for his/her cooperation.
