SMCL ICS wins in iSITE student research tilts




Students from the Institute of Computer Studies received three awards for their researches during the 2nd Regional IT Competitions and Research Conference and Presentation, March 13.

The Michaeleans' research entitled "QSearch: A question bank decision support system using query expansion algorithm" won Best Thesis.

Meanwhile, another research, "Decal: Data mining clustering technique with report customization," was awarded second place.

On the other hand, the group of "Kaijento: An artificial intelligence mobile game application using Minimax algorithm" was recognized 2nd Best Presenter.

Integrated Southern Tagalog Association of IT Education, a group of IT educators from the Calabarzon region, sponsored the event that was held at University of Perpetual Help System - Jonelta, Biñan Campus.

Dr. Anna Liza Ramos served as the teams' advisor.
